Radio Show: The Stages of Dating

I was interviewed by Damian Fargo of The King's Men apostolate a few days ago. His questions were directed toward taking people through the stages of dating and courtship. I thought this was a great idea, but the radio program proved to be too short to address every stage appropriately. I am, therefore, working on a more comprehensive outline of the stages of dating and courtship which I will post at a future time. For now, enjoy the program. It's Damian's very first time as a radio host and I think he does a great job.

Veronica Wallace's Gravatar Very nice message. People DO marry later in life. I married at 23 and my husband died 25 years later. After he died, I tried to keep myself marriagable, but I just needed an income and I had to surround myself with unmarried friends. Now, I have a masters degree ("smarter than the boys," as my mom would say. I have moved twice. I go to events that only I enjoy and I do that by myself. I have recreated my life and myself and I really had no other choice. The handsome prince just doesn't come along, and women have to be independent. Once he does arrive, it's no longer two kids in college or high school with pretty equal backgrounds or potential. Women have to be our own husbands (providers, protectors). It makes it all harder.
