Fr. Neuhas' insights are a comfort for those of us who fear failure in marriage. Since marriage is "God's project", the pressure on us is lessened if we accept His invitation to marry with realistic expectations when two imperfect people enter into a convenant that is "God's project." Thank you Fr. Neuhaus for your words of wisdom.

Father-that was a really brilliant talk on marriage. It really helps those realise that God calls them to it, and not necessarily the other way around. I found it very comforting. More of these talks-these and Anthony's letters are the best. I watch out for them with real eagerness and interest. Love and God Bless you, from Fiona

Father made some excellent points. Our lives would be much better if we could resist the urge to self manage our lives and ask for divine guidance. Everything is always God's project, marriage included. Being open to God's will is a good starting point.
