The King’s Men are sponsoring a retreat for men called “Into the  Wild” at French Creek State Park on June 10-13th.  This experiential weekend features fishing, orienteering, outdoor cooking, archery, and faith presented in a masculine  modality.  No experience is necessary and space is limited.  "Into the Wild" is excellent for single or married men as well as fathers and sons.  More information at www.intothewildweekend.com or call Damian Wargo at  215-906-8878.  Financial aid is available.

Dennis's Gravatar I highly recommend this...went last June after my friend Don told me about it. Went orienteering, did some pioneering, wood chopping, and shooting. These were things I had NOT done in years.

Discussions by Fr. Chavez were excellent. Fr. Chavez does NOT use feel good pop psychology, and men aren't sitting around in a circle talking about feelings and singing Kumbaya. It was about MEN ACTING LIKE MEN.

Take a couple days off work and pack your camping gear, especially if you live in PA, MD, NJ, VA, DE, or NY. I live in Texas, and thanks to frequent flier miles, plane fare was only $50. Another plus, if you live in the South, PA is a great place to escape the heat...glad I did it.
